Wrinkle Injections

As we grow older, our skin becomes drier, thinner, and loses its elasticity. This can cause wrinkles and lines to form and this is most evident in our faces. Muscle relaxant injections are the ideal solution for people wanting a clearer complexion, but without having to undergo surgery. They can also be used to treat people who suffer from excessive sweating.

Muscle relaxant injections are the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment and can be used on:

  • Armpits – to stop excessive sweating
  • Forehead wrinkles – horizontal lines above the eyebrow
  • Glabeller lines – lines that form between the eyebrows when you frown
  • Laughter lines or crow’s feet – lines forming at the corner of the eye

The procedure

During the procedure, injections are administered into the muscles to limit their activity. Rendering the muscles less active decreases their activity, meaning that the skin appears less wrinkled.

The effects are temporary and normally last between three and six months. People undergoing several treatments typically find the results to be longer-lasting.

It takes virtually no time at all to recover, and you will be able to carry on with your day almost immediately after treatment.
