Parkside achieves triple ‘Good’ rating from CQC
We are delighted to announce that Parkside Hospital has achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating after the health regulator published its report on the hospital following inspections last year: https://www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-1890547068
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. Their role is to ensure that hospitals and other healthcare providers deliver services that are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
CQC inspectors visited Parkside Private Hospital, Cancer Centre London and Parkside Hospital at Putney between September and December 2019.
All three facilities were rated ‘Good’ across all five assessment criteria – for being caring, well-led, responsive to people’s needs, being safe and effective.
The report is complimentary and a reflection of the work, dedication and care with which staff across the sites treat their patients. The CQC report states: “Staff worked hard to make the patient experience as pleasant as possible. Staff recognised and responded to the holistic needs of patients from their first referral before admission to checks on their wellbeing after they were discharged from the hospital”.
