Dr Flavia Aslanian

Dr Flavia Aslanian qualified as a Doctor in Brazil 28 years ago.

She has been a Consultant Dermatologist since 1999 (Brazilian Board of Dermatology) and has full registration as a Consultant Dermatologist in the UK (2011). Dr Aslanian worked as a Consultant in highly regarded hospitals in London (Royal London Hospital, Homerton University Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Whittington Hospital, and Kingston Hospital). She has been a Substantive Consultant at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust Hospitals since 2015.

Dr Aslanian was extensively trained in Cosmetic Dermatology in Brazil, Argentina (Buenos Aires University), and UAE (Dubai) and has been practising in this field during her entire career (skin rejuvenation, cosmetic advice, prevention and treatment of ageing signs, acne and rosacea treatment, injectables and laser therapy). She trained and worked at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro- Brazil (UFRJ) for 12 years, and was awarded a Master’s degree (2001- Genital Dermatology) and a PhD degree (2007- Vitiligo, skin immune system and phototherapy) with distinction.

In the UK, she attended a Post-Graduation programme in Dermatology at the Queen Mary University of London and was awarded a distinction (Vitiligo). She later became a Co-Director and Senior Lecturer for that same programme. Dr Aslanian has medical publications in high-impact journals. She also worked as Feasibility Manager for Quintiles, a global leader in Research (2008).

She has now been an Investigator and Advisory doctor for L’oreal (invited).
