About
Rashmi Singh is one of a small number of female Consultant Urological Surgeons in the region thus offering patients in the South West London and Surrey area a unique opportunity to consult a female doctor for any urology problem. She has a sub-specialist interest in kidney stone disease and offers laser and keyhole surgery. She also has extensive experience in all aspects of general urology and female urinary problems.
She is one of the lead consultants in the Stone Unit at St George's Hospital.
Rashmi trained at Guys and St Thomas' Medical School. She had a diverse training in the South Thames region in general urology and developed a sub-specialist expertise in urinary stone and upper tract disease. She completed an MD thesis in prostate cancer genetics at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. She has had publications in a number of scientific journals and textbooks of urology.
She was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon to Kingston and St George's Hospitals in 2006.
Rashmi is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS). She is an executive committee member of the Endourology section of BAUS.
She is actively involved in medical training and education and is the Training Programme Director for Urology in South London.
