Clinical interests:

All aspects of general adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat disorders; including ear & hearing problems, nasal and sinus problems, voice and throat problems. Professor Kim is a specialist in ‘key-hole’ thyroid and parathyroid surgery (Specialist Advisor for NICE).

Please note Professor Kim only sees children over the age of 16.

Training & background:

Professor Kim works at the St George’s University Hospital. He is dual-qualified, in Medicine (Edinburgh) and Dentistry. He then trained at Edinburgh and Cambridge teaching hospitals. He completed a specialist ENT surgery training and an Advanced Fellowship in Head & Neck and Endocrine Surgery, Toronto University Hospitals; gaining expertise in minimally-invasive ‘key-hole’ thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
