Training & background:
Professor Kim’s is based at St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is dual-qualified in Medicine and Dentistry. He then trained at Edinburgh and Cambridge teaching hospitals. Professor Kim completed his specialist ENT surgery training and an Advanced Fellowship in Head & Neck and Endocrine Surgery at Toronto University Hospital; gaining expertise in minimally-invasive ‘key-hole’ thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Prof Kim is a Specialist Advisor for the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
