Female urology, recurrent urinary tract infections, incontinence in men and women, pelvic organ prolapse, neuro-urology and male-to-female gender reassignment

Training and Background

Miss Rashid graduated from University College London Medical School in 2004.  She completed her post-graduate training as a Urologist on the North West Thames Rotation, which included London University hospitals such as Charing Cross Hospital and University College London Hospital.

She undertook a competitive BAUS-approved fellowship in female urology at University Hospitals of Leicester and was awarded a fellowship at a European centre of excellence in functional and reconstructive urology in Belgium, Leuven University Hospital.

She was appointed as a Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2014, to develop the female and functional urology unit and as an addition to the Gender Reassignment Team.  She is an investigator for multiple NIHR trials and has a special interest in post-prostatectomy incontinence.  She is a key member of the Lead Provider team that co-ordinates teaching for Urology trainees at Registrar level in London.
