Clinical interests:

Miss Haque's special interests include abnormal smear, Colposcopy, loop excision treatment (LLETZ), vulval problems (itch/pain/discharge) and biopsy, period related problems and its treatment (both medical and surgical), fibroids, fibroid resection & Myomectomy, outpatient hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation and resection, Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), pelvic pain, ovarian cyst, polyps, Endometriosis, Premenstrual syndrome, Postmenopausal bleeding, Menopause, Contraception. She  hold a keen interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, Hysterectomy, ultrasound scanning for gynae problems and early pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy.

 

Training & background:

Miss Haque is a leading gynaecologist and obstetrician in the NHS in London with more than 20 years’ experience in this field. She  have been trained in all aspects of Benign Gynaecology related problem and its management including Diagnostic Oncology (Cancer) and Ultrasound scanning having completed the UK training programme via a highly competitive national selection. Miss Haque undertook the majority of her Postgraduate and Specialty training in Scotland. She was appointed as Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Epsom and St Helier University Hospital NHS Trust in 2016. Besides her busy clinical activities, she is a Senior Lecturer at University of London medical school, a dedicated teacher to junior doctors and also a trainer and examiner for MRCOG examination and Colposcopy.

 

Personal profile:

Ms Haque is married with two children and enjoy spending her spare time attending theatre shows and cooking as a way of relaxation. She supports charities such as Cancer research UK and British Red Cross and she also enjoys swimming and running.
