Audiovestibular (hearing and balance), vertigo in children and adults, paediatric audiology, neuro-otology, dizziness and balance disorders, tinnitus and hearing impairments.
Training & background:
Dr Ewa Raglan is a Consultant Audiovestibular Physician practising at St George’s and Great Ormond Street Hospitals in London. She qualified with distinction in medicine in 1973 from the University of Warsaw, Poland, received a Diploma in Otolaryngology in 1975, FRCS in otolaryngology in London in 1981 and FRCP in 2005.
Dr Raglan is the founder and the Clinical Lead of the Department of Audiovestibular Medicine at St George’s Hospital, past chair of the governing body of the Hearing Impaired Service for Children in Wandsworth, governor of the school for the deaf in Wandsworth and has given foundation to the platform uniting health and educational services in diagnostic and rehabilitative management of hard of hearing children in Wandsworth. She is past secretary of the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians, council member and the treasurer of the British Society of Audiology, clinical champion and adviser in audiology to the Chief Scientific Officer Department of Health.
Currently she holds position of the secretary general of the International Association of Audiovestibular Physicians and is an expert witness. She is the recognised under and postgraduates teacher and OSCE, MD, MSc, PHD examiner, educational supervisor and actively contributes to research, especially in the area of vestibular disorders in children and adults.
