It is important that if you are considering cosmetic surgery, you are reassured as to the qualifications and skill of the Consultant who would be carrying out your operation as well as the nursing staff who will look after you during your recovery.

Cosmetic surgery at the Parkside Hospital is practiced by surgeons from a number of specialities.  These include Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, Maxillofacial Surgeons, Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeons, General Surgeons and Ocular Plastic Surgeons.  All our surgeons are registered with the General Medical Council and are members of their appropriate professional organizations.  Do not be afraid to ask your consultant about his or her qualifications and experience in the particular procedure you are interested in.

Parkside Hospital's nursing staff are all fully qualified nurses and registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council), many of whom have lengthy and specific experience in treating and looking after patients who have undergone cosmetic surgery. In addittion, the Hospital has its own Medical Advisory Committee made up of surgeons and doctors from a wide range of specialities, which in turn oversees the granting of admitting privileges to all new Consultants.
